An idea, a thought, an anecdote, a story or a poem a day!

We used to have meetings,  arranged or meeting by chance, perchance meetings,  as we love to meet, you know!  But now we don't meet chance or by chance!  Why, cause we are in a lockdown!  Yes, another one, and this one is going very slow! We can't go to work, can't go out, unless we can say that we are exercising, shopping or have an emergency  as there are restrictions about doing a lot of things, both simple or fancy!  And meetings are one of those things, that are not allowed. We can't meet family, or friends,  as there is no socialisation. Faces behind masks, and hands sanitised we remain prim and proper, just as we're advised!  No mingling as we are in isolation! And if we meet someone by chance, or by arrangement,  we can't give them a hug, as that will be outrageous can't shake hands even, because that can be contagious. Our meetings are reduced to walks,  or muffled talks,  Yes, when we talk through masks,  or whil...

Things will get worse before they get better!  We know that, we are always told. But how? How does it happen? Do you ever wonder? How come, we go so low to such a miserable altitude to rise again, up and flying, so high? Some law of nature, a miracle, or divine intervention?  Or just adjustment,  human ingenuity Our tendency to make the best of what we are dealt!  A desire to improve ourselves,  our behaviour to change our direction, to get better, to find a solution, to resolve! Till we make yet another blunder! 

When we can't do what we normally did,  when we can't get back to the routine we normally followed  When we can't be with people that we always hung out with When we can't carry on what was our life style When we have to stay put, still and alone It is time to reflect and evaluate, value and appreciate  It is time to think, time to be a better person.
