Resistance and Hope
Resistance and Hope
a Haiku

I had read a few Haikus on medium, by a few poets, and had enjoyed their craft, the rationed words, and the 5/7/5 rule.
had nailed it in one of her stories, Lotus, I remember. Thanks to
, whose poem/Haiku inspired me today, or was it yesterday!WORDS RATIONED — LESS IS MORE

I think I have managed the format rule (five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five again in the third).
However, I’m still not sure of the “cutting word”, or a kareji, that needs to create contrast, where it needs to be.
Could any Haiku experts throw some light on this please!
, , , , .I’d love all other poets and writers that I follow, or who follow me, to read this, as you always do!
