Teeku's adventure 3 The butterfly ride

Yes, that's right. Two tickets, one for Teeku and one for the mouse for their ride on a butterfly to fly to Mouseytung's party.

Teeku looked with a great surprise, when the butterfly turned its face towards them and with its yellow tongue put a little stamp of yellow pollen on the two passengers.

Wow! That's cool!  Teeku thought. He was getting very excited now.

It was an easy ride, he just had to hold on to one of the straps hanging from the butterfly's back.

He looked around at the clouds and the trees, really tall ones and  waved at the birds flying around, and monkeys hanging from the branches of the trees.

He was however getting a bit hungry now, as he hadn't had any morning tea. Breakfast had been hours ago, and even then, he had not eaten enough. He had been playing with his food.

Suddenly he felt like eating his pancake, the one he had thrown and the one, the mouse had pinched.

He looked at the mouse and was surprised to see the piece of pancake still in its mouth. But before he could ask for it, the butterfly had started to land. They had arrived it seemed.

And lo behold, it was Teeku's front garden where the butterfly had brought them.  The mouse jumped down and ran in another direction. No thanks, no good bye!

That was quite rude, Teeku thought.

At least he turned around to say thank you to the butterfly, but he couldn't see it anymore.

Wow that was something, Teeku thought.

By now, he was a bit tired too, and didn't want to run after the mouse anymore.

No more play when you are hungry. He repeated what her mum always said.

He could smell the banana muffins his mum had baked and he could already taste the chocolate milk.  He decided to ditch the party and ran inside the kitchen.
