Teeku's adventure 1 The mouse in the cupboard

One fine morning, Teeku was playing in the corridor when he saw a little mouse. It was running somewhere with some food, a piece of bread or something in his mouth. Teeku followed the running mouse with his eyes to find out where it was running to, and saw it disappear behind the wall.

Teeku ran fast to the other side and he saw the mouse disappear in a cupboard, the door was shut, but the clever mouse had slipped through the gap, a small one, very close to the floor, as the cupboard was situated quite low on the wall.

Teeku lied down on the floor, and tried to look through the gap inside the cupboard. And suddenly there was a whoosh of wind, and he slipped through the door inside the cupboard, almost got squeezed in, like a flat pancake.

A pancake? But why did he think of a pancake? Oh, yes, what the mouse had stolen, was actually, a piece of his pancake that he had thrown on the floor this morning, while playing with his breakfast, as he hadn't been that hungry and!!

And now when he saw the mouse still running with it, he got annoyed,"My pancake", he thought, or maybe he said it loudly, as the mouse looked behind and then turned and sped up whereever he was off to.

Teeku followed it and got into the other side of the cupboard. He was completely inside the wall now, as there was no other side to the cupboard.

But he could still see the tail of the mouse going swish swash,  swish swash, and he followed it, further and further inside. It was getting dark and he was not able to see anything other than the shiny tail going swish swash, swish swash.

Teeku was focusing on the tail so much that he was not even looking down, to see where he was going  so, he didn't see the uneven cobble stones on the floor, and he tripped over one, and fell down.

But instead of falling flat on his nose, as he always did, whenever he fell down, he actually went head down into a hole in the floor. Falling falling falling in right behind the mouse.

Ohhhhhhhh!!!

And he fell on the mouse and squashed him, both falling faster now, entered a dark tunnel going inside the earth.

"Where are we going"? Teeku asked.

"To the mouysytung's party"! The mouse replied.

"What party?"
