Beauty Lies
PROMPT MIXED MESSAGES
Beauty lies
Truism with a twist
Truism is
an undoubted or self-evident truth, especially: one too obvious for mention.
Boring, isn’t it! To say what is obvious.
So what about saying something, not obvious. I mean a truism with a twist!
So without much ado, here are some Truism with a twist! Just for fun!
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
Lies are beautiful
in the eyes of
the beholden! 🙂
Rolling stones don’t gather moss
While rolling in moss,
you don’t gather stones!!
Those who live in glass houses … shouldn’t throw stones at others/
Throwing glasses on those
who live with you
in a house of stone,
is like getting ready
to live alone !!
Sticks and stones may break my bones…but words will never harm me’
Words may stick to my bones,
but will never break stones!!
The road to a friend’s house is never long
A house never longs,
if it belongs to a friend !!
And finally some twist on falsism, the opposite of truism.
“It is raining dogs and cats”, and “pigs can fly”.
If dogs can train, and cats can be trained
surely pigs can apply!
For this week,
had set one of her weekly promptsMixed Messages
She said: What can you create from this mixed-up message?
And gave the example,
Every man is the mirror of the soul
So I thought, I’d mix it and say:
Mirror is not the man of every soul!
Thanks for great prompts they always inspire me to do something, sometimes, a bit of mischief.
