It is hard to focus on anything,
in this toxic smog, turning our day into night,
what's left now, what is the hope?

Where have they all gone?
My friends and my foes!
There's not even a swallow in sight!
No one there to call my name!!

Life has paused!

I am trying to look with my watery eyes,
in the folds of the mushroom cloud
in the debris of my doing
The destruction

while keeping my brazen mind, detached, that YOU, had said was necessary,
to fight
to obey,
to follow this path to glory and fame!

And
"Now, I am become death, the destroyer of worlds",
I've shut my brain, and my eyes to what I caused!

But
Why are you are so quiet!
Are you thinking, or have you lost your thoughts like MY lost sight?

Being a woman

Contentment

  We, who are all running after contentment, do we even know what contentment actually means? Does it mean being content, satisfied, and happy, with what we have, where we are, who we are with today?  Then I'd say that we are running after a butterfly, a transient, fleeting feeling, something that we would never achieve for a longer period. As where we are happy today, with whom, and with what we have, that keeps changing. We want something today, and really want it, and we think, that is what would make us content, and yes, it does feel like we are content, after we get what we want, for a little while. But then the same thing which made us content, is not enough. It doesn't satisfy us anymore. WE want something else, something more.  So, what if being content meant, just being content, like our nature to be satisfied with whatever we have, a value that keeps us happy always with ourselves, that would be the intrinsic, an internal  contentment. Tikku and the lost pages part 1

Tikku was carrying his favourite book 'Winnie the Pooh' to the kitchen, where his mum was baking, and might have some time to read a bit for him. He had already checked the pictures and was quite excited, and was almost running with the half opened book in his hand.  When he got to the kitchen, his mum asked him to help her in rolling some cookies, so after putting the last batch in the oven, she could sit and read the book to him. He was chatting away about the honey trail, that he knew Winnie-the-Pooh was going on with his friend Piglet and was wondering whether they were going to get lost in the hundred acres.
