Teeku on the rocky road part 2

When mum called him to come for a snack, Teeku was very happy.  He was hungry by now, and he loved rocky road, the chocolate concoction that his mum made with nuts and marshmallow.

He was also in a hurry to get out of his play room, and check outside, how the sky was looking now. He had spent a lot of time flying there this morning, in the clouds. He waited for Saia to come with him though, and when she came outside, they both went to the kitchen.

Mum had set the table with three placemats, there was cold milk in two glasses, and a few pieces of rocky road in two small plates for them both, one for Teeku, one for Saia and for herself, she had put a cup and saucer, as she usually had her morning tea with him.

The kids washed their hands, and sat down quickly, they were in a hurry to pick up and taste the rocky chocolate pieces with crunchy nuts, and soft marshmallows.

Teeku started to tell his mum about his flight, how he had flown in the clouds and had tasted the clouds which were so soft and sweet, and the fairy, her red pompoms, and the golden window through which he had come back in his room.

His mum looked at him with great love, while she listened to him. "That's very nice, dear!" She said.

"Yes, I almost saw the sun there, in the clouds,  but there were no stars", Teeku was remembering, but then he suddenly said, "Oh,  but I didn't see the rabbit on the moon, as there was no moon there"!

Saia, meanwhile, was enjoying her glass of chilled milk and a piece of rocky road with great relish, and she was listening to Teeku's banter, and was smiling too.

It was quite nice and peaceful, just sitting down on the table with a friend and his mum. Teeku thought, "I'd like to do this more often"!

He finished his milk, it was so refreshing and cool, and he had been so thirsty after his flight, he thought, but then he suddenly realised that the fairy might need some refreshment too.

So, he asked his mum if he could take some rocky road for the fairy, and then he and Saia went back to play in his room.

And lo behold! when they got back in the room, the fairy was gone.

Teeku looked everywhere but he couldn't see her anywhere, but yes all their drawings were still there.

He looked outside the window but saw nothing there too.

"That's strange", he said loudly, but Saia didn't say anything, so he turned around, and saw Saia was drawing again.

And when Teeku bent down to check, he saw that she was drawing a rabbit this time, a rabbit on the moon, maybe!

"Oh boyee", Teeku thought, and quickly went and shut the window. He wasn't ready for another flight, not even to the moon.
