1984 AI forboding going forward

Is it the second coming, Caliphate,

or Lord Krishna, our Messiah

or the 1984* reality being realised?

Yes, the self terminating race we humans are,

we had to finally reach this point!

Technology and the changing world, changing  limitations,

new morals and new rule.

The changing roles, in which

are we the master or the mule?

Who is doing and what is doing and to whom, and to what?

Do we know what's happening

Do we know, and also don't know?

Do we have any answers?

Do we have any questions?

Do we know, or even care about

What is the point?

Note:

Here, I'm reminded of Kena Upanishad one of the Upanishads**, in which a student asks questions, and the teacher, the guru, answers in the form of questions, so knowledge is not just transmitted from the teacher, but is discovered by the disciple.

For example: Who is thinking, speaking, listening, living, or looking through me?

The answer to this question is : "It is the mind of the mind, the speech of the speech, the ear of the ear, the life of life, and the eye of the eye".

Such an answer takes the disciple to another level of questioning, then who is this, mind of the mind... etc? is that Brahman?

And then the guru sums up by saying:

Only a person who can say, "Neither do I not know, nor do I know"-  that person knows Brahman.

So do we know or not know where we are going?

Is it the dusk or the dawn approaching, as,  humanity wakes up in its own destruction!!

*1984 - the novel by George Orwell, about the dystopian world, in which the Government controlled humans under surveillance are striving for a simple normal life.

**Upanishads are the gist of Vedas, Vedanta, simplified in the form of dialogues or stories to give Vedic knowledge to ordinary people.
